In some legends, they call them Angels of Death. To most, though, death is rarely wanted. Wherever life ends, the reaper goes. It is only a matter of who, and when.

The Reapers, of which there are a limited (but uncounted) number of, are servants of death, in that they help to guide souls, both of the living and the dead. Reapers are often said to be present at the moment that a mortal life reaches its end, gently whisking away the souls of the deceased to the Realm of the Dead.
