Aurite (otherwise known as Star Metal) is a rare mineral which is believed to come from "falling stars". The metal is unlike other metals in the world, and thus highly prized.
Aurite reacts in a very unusual manner when Magic is used on it. It seems to be especially powerful when infused, and many artificers believe that this might be due to latent mana left inside of the rock. Considering the origins of such metal boils down to "the sky", there is no telling where it really came from or what it went through before it fell to the earth.
